Nike Golf Demo Days at Laolao Bay Golf Resort for TOC

Golfers from around the region are a few days away from teeing off in the 15th Annual Tournament of
Champions and organizers are releasing more details about some of the $400,000 in prizes and features
in store for this year's event.
A new sponsor for 2010 is Nike Golf. Prior to this year's TOC there will be Nike Demo Days on Thursday,
July 29, and Friday, July 30, from 2pn to 6pm at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort Driving Range.
John Botelho from Nike Golf in Hawaii will be on Saipan especially for TOC and will personally work with
golfers during the two-day demo event.
Participants can sample from a broad assortment of Nike clubs at The Range, while experts equipped with
a launch monitor and computer will be in place to help golfers with their personal driver fittings while playing
their practice rounds.
“I always look forward to my visits to Saipan,” Botelho said. “Nike Golf is so pleased to be able to be a part of
the 15th Annual TOC and partner with Laolao Bay Golf Resort for our demo event.”
Up for grabs next weekend as part of the TOC raffle, are a pair of Nike Victory Red STR8FIT Tour Drivers that
experts have called “blend of technology and aesthetics.” Valued at $479 apiece, the Str8-Fit shaft adaptor
built into the hosel provides 32 different clubhead positions for 32 possible shot shapes.This feature also
plays a major role in optimizing launch conditions to maximize distance for each loft.
Nike Golf is also donating four custom TOC logoed Nike Tour Cart Golf Bags, perfect for the golfer who
grooves the course on wheels rather than on foot. Competitors in next weekend's event also have a shot at
taking their course style to new heights with the one of four TOC logoed Nike Departure Duffle Bags which
will also be raffled to a lucky winner.
In addition to the Nike Demo Days, the Laolao Bay Golf Resort also has plenty of activities in store during
the build up to next weekend's tournament, including discounts on and off the course. Visiting TOC
participants from Guam will enjoy playing rounds of golf at the local rate and receive 30-percent off of all non-
sale items in the ProShop through the end of the TOC.
Golfers will also receive special discounted prices at The Range now through Friday, July 30 and The Grill
Restaurant will have special lunch menus available on Friday, July 30, and Saturday, July 31.
