Two $50,000 hole-in-one prizes from AON for TOC

Golfers at the 15th Annual TOC have 100,000 reasons to play in Saipan's premiere golf tournament this
weekend, thanks to two $50,000 hole-in-one prizes courtesy of AON Insurance.
A hole-in-one in hole No. 7 on the west course or hole No. 11 on the east brings a big payoff to the fortunate
TOC player with a perfect shot.
“AON has enjoyed a long relationship with TOC,” said AON Insurance regional director Rod Rankin. “Our
staff and management are pleased to support TOC and the beautification projects that have been
completed in the last 15 years.”
TOC has given over $500,000 to the Saipan Beautification Fund which has gone directly to the
improvements of the tree-lined traffic medians that stretch from Garapan to The Palms on Pau Pau, as well
as the revitalization of the Garapan special district. In addition, TOC also contributed funds for the Paseo de
Marianas, the lighting of the Saipan Beach Pathway, and most recently the beautification of the Port to Park
pathway.
“AON Insurance has been a sponsor for 10 years and we are thankful for their support of the beautification
fund,” TOC tournament director said Ben Babauta. “I've had many golfers tell me they were practicing just to
win this prize.”
Platinum sponsor, Laolao Bay Golf Resort, will host to the 15th Annual Tournament of Champions on
Saturday and Sunday, July 31 and Aug. 1. Show time is 6am and shotgun start is 7am. Registration fee is
$175 for two days of golf and the banquet.
